I researched football teams brands, the UI design of existing apps in the field, data visualisation examples from leading sport gear companies and football TV infographics.
Typography & Style
The font references to both the football and the Hi-Tech fields.
The leading colors match the teams’ brand colors.

Desktop
I chose to use a dark design theme to increase a sense of drama
and increase readability.
Data Visualization
The different aspects of data are represented with the ball’s patches.
Together they create the full picture of the athletes’ ability.
The crucial factor in the design was keeping it clear and scannable.
Rejected Icons
One of the challenges was creating a unique design
yet make sure the user can understand the data at a glance.
A Personal Touch
A fun detail was to pay attention to the players' avatars.
The design corresponds with the way the names are written
on their uniforms.
Engaging Content
I used impressive images, dramatic typography and clear CTAs
to invite the user to continue and explore.
Responsive Design
The mobile version is a key element for the ongoing engagement of the user
and their access to the data.
