Overview
A design for an app that assists young adults to choose their career path.
Incorporating the content and visual language of Dr. Seuss’ world into the
decision process allows for an intuitive connection and a game like feeling.

Research
The Dr. Seuss world is rich with visual languages, yet we recognise it immediately.

Typography & Style
I chose a serif font and minimal approach to color, in order to distill
the charm and intelligence of that world without creating a childish feeling.

#000000

#FFFFFF
I chose red as the leading color in order to make the app instantly recognisable
and to immediately grab the user’s attention.

Question Cards
The next challenge was to live up to the content standarts.
Each question drew its language and theme from the books.

Progress Bar
Another touch was to design the progress bar
using the main character from the book “Oh, The Places You’ll Go!”.

Icons
I chose to use a different visual language for the Icons in the Tab Bar
in order to keep the connection but to differentiate the component.

Illustration
One of the challenges was the need to use existing illustrations
and connect them to the visual language I created.

I chose a hand drawn, illustrated icon language to remind
the user of the context in every screen, including the informative ones.
